Homecoming...

September 12th, 2010 was our annual Church Homecoming. People from all areas and in all walks of life joined our congregation in this joyous occasion. The Catawba College choir was supposed to attend and sing for us but Professor Oakley was sick and had to cancel at the last minute. Instead, our preacher preached about the ultimate homecoming: the homecoming we will experience in Heaven! We closed the service with the hymn "Until We Meet Again." I felt the hymn was a great way to finish up the service. After the service we all gathered behind the church at our new picnic tables and enjoyed a great pot luck meal and fellowship. I cannot wait until next year's homecoming!!
